Venues

The main-venue will be ”Baltiska Hallen”, which is a flexible sporting and entertainment venue with seating for about 4 000 spectators. The arena is used for handball, basketball, boxing, table tennis, tennis, music and artist events. This has, among other things, staged the World Cup in hockey, the Davis Cup in tennis, handball World Cup and European Championships in handball. The arena is also used extensively for music and entertainment events. The building was renovated during the 2008 and got new upholstered chairs, new panels in the roof and new lodges. The arena-floor is a Pulastic-floor on top of wood. Our second venue will be ”Baltiska träningshallen”, which is a training arena for handball, basketball, softball and volleyball. The venue was ready at 2009 and can take 150 spectators. Also here the floor is a Pulastic-floor on top of wood. The warming-up venue is named ”Kombihallen” and are a two minute walk from the main building. It is a multisport hall for indoor-sports and it is mainly used for soccer-training. The hall was built in 1980 and in the hall you also can find an 12 meter high climbing wall.
